Hello, I've been certain for 2 months or so I need laser jammers and held back but am finally caving. I have a larger sedan. It is a 2006 Ford Five Hundred. I live in Washington where they shoot front and rear. For money sake I want to go only for a regular quad system, but I'll understand if I'll need to get 2 CPU's.
Yes, I do have fog lights.

I like the placement of both. The rears can be tricky but get that tested when you are done.
The 8.9 quad system will suffice your needs. No need for 2 CPU's unless you are running quads up front and duals in the rear.

Just as Andrew said perfect spot on the front. Might be a little work to mount them there though.
Rear is the ideal placement but might be also hard to mount there.
Second option would be above the license plate and spread as far apart as possible but that's probably the most aesthetically pleasing.
Now the front of my car has a plastic grill I figure cut into it and can easily place the brackets there which should help a little.
What other things should I buy from LI: Panic Switch? Jam/Detection switch? Optional Front Sensor Bracket? Rear Extension Cables? Jammer Tester?
I have some wiring savvy but have you guys found installers such as car toys or any others in the washington area to be decent installers?

If you can do the wiring and don't mind doing a little drilling and cutting taking your time and doing it right is not hard. Chances are there aren't many good installers and I imagine it will cost you a couple hundred for a basic front install. Money that could be better allocated to Jammer heads or other cm's.
When you gain access in I believe 7 more posts you will be able to see the show off your install section where you can get ideas about how to mount the heads. Ive heard that the brackets from LI make installing a breeze too.

+1 on the special too. laser tester and speaker great accessories. maybe get the LI brackets depending on how you plan to install. As for extensions depends on how easy your car is to route the cables through and where you want your cpu.
Contact cliff at LI for a recommended installer if your still unsure about installing yourself.

The package comes with these little 'L' brackets which offer very little options unless you get really creative. I would get a set of the T brackets from cliff, front and back. If you buy the quad set, you'll probably get a rear set. Ask cliff whats included and ask for the T brackets as well. Better off being prepared during the install than looking for stuff later on.
Have you bought and installed your jammers yet? Your yellow locations look near perfect. I wonder whether your 3rd brake light will offer a PT or not...
I was holding out for a little bit, wanted to have a little extra back up money just in case. Either way, Black Friday rolled around and I purchased a set of quads, mounting brackets, a PA/Jam Switch
I got a price quote from car toys for the install approx $300. Might be time to look how to run the wires into the cab
I thought the coverage area was a 18" oval? That looks like a 28"+ circle.
