    Look at the long range tests page. It matches them in over the hill and short range, beats them in the long range Ka tests.

    Reading those test results makes everything look the same. I don't see anything to indicate it beat any other unit.

    Notice 8 miles on the 78 XRI but 8.8 on the 78 SE. Not counting the fact SML makes anything look good by their piss poor tests.

    I hope the new version takes care of the x and k band confusion, while minimizing the occasional Ka falses.

    x2. If these 2 things were fixed Whistlers would be a viable option for the diehard enthusiast, plus a bit more consistency would help too.
